Fundamental equity across the AI economy

Public equities. Long and short research. A focus on the link between operating evidence, valuation and portfolio risk.

A price is a set of expectations

Our research compares business evidence with the growth, margins and capital needs implied by a share price. The AI value chain connects our coverage; company economics determine the investment question.

Long research: cash generation and reinvestment

We examine whether demand can become durable cash generation after the investment needed to serve it. A growing market alone does not establish an attractive equity valuation.

Short research: test the assumptions

Orders, delivery schedules, margins and cash conversion help test expectations. Short selling also creates borrowing, recall and potentially unlimited loss risks that require separate consideration.

Portfolio risk: follow shared dependencies

A chip supplier, data-centre operator and power-equipment company may depend on the same customer spending cycle. Position sizing considers liquidity, downside scenarios and common exposures across long and short holdings.

Evidence that changes the case

Our published research identifies milestones to revisit: customer payments, capacity entering service, cancellation terms and cash conversion. New evidence should be tested against the original assumptions, including the counterargument.

This is a research framework, not a statement of current positioning. Geography, holding periods, exposure limits and fund-specific restrictions should be confirmed during due diligence.
